This dog (My Nimble) is definitely not unhealthy!...

Let's dig a little deeper. Here's a few things to consider...

Let's Say Organic Chicken is the Main Ingredient

If the chickens are raised on corn and soy they will not be healthy and this will be passed on to your dog. Organic dog food does not prevent this.

Natural feed should mostly be food “pecked” while the chickens are spending time outdoors in large open fields, fresh air and sunshine.

Corn and soy throw the chickens' omega 6 / omega 3 ratio out of wack (among so many other things). Chickens, our dogs and us need to eat more omega 3's and less omega 6's! We all get plenty (it's easy to get too much) of omega 6's in our diet...

Eating a diet appropriate for the species will keep this in check.

These chickens are raised correctly...

This is just one issue to be aware of... I can't cover it all here :-(

Worth Mentioning Again...

I only used chicken as an example. Beef should be raised outdoors eating grass. Fish should not be farm-raised! I could go on and on. Much of this is covered throughout our website. From time to time I'll keep adding more.

For now... at least buy organic healthy dog food which will eliminate gmo's, pesticides, hormones , preservatives and other harmful dog food ingredients.

Analyzing the ingredients in your dog's food can be a pain for sure! That's why I “gather” fresh dog food ingredients myself and personally know some of the sources. But...

This is not a knock on the best best healthy dog food brands on the market... they're doing the best they can :-) Some brands do source from trusted growers. If it costs more... that might be why.
